Local parks in the SF Bay Area can be fun to visit. |

A moth taken with a 300mm zoom lense. Moths are nice to take pictures of because they seem to be oblivious to humans and when you look at the close up of the picture you can see the exquisite design of their wings. Also in this case you can see that someone has been muching on them.
This is from Joseph D. Grant County Park. It is near (perhaps even in) San Jose CA. Even local parks in Californa can be beautiful. In this particular park you may see some of wild pigs. I would have pictures of them here except that I was stricken by fear (never having seen wild pigs before). I am told they are mostly harmless. |
